Tatler CSP: Blog Task

REPRESENTATION:

1) What celebrities or famous people are mentioned on the cover? Why do you think Tatler put them on the cover?

Emma Weymouth is on the cover and more celebrities because if wealthy people who are fans f these celebs see them wearing a nice clothing brand they are most likely going to buy what they may be earing to using celebrities is a good way of marketing a clothing brand.

2) What do the cover lines suggest about the lifestyle of rich people in the UK?

The context on the cover is mainly in bold textiles conveying how rich peoples lifestyle in the UK is sicks out from other lifestyles and how they are the main focus in a lot of communities. It also shows how society mainly care about the wealthy people and make them a priority.

3) Looking at the image and cover lines together, what different groups of people are represented on the cover and how are they represented? (E.g. men/women/rich people/race & ethnicity etc.) 

The women in the cover are presented in a creative style of clothing. The women are shown in these colourful dresses and skirts

Camera movement and editing

1) Pick  three   aspects of  camera movement  in the Minority Report clip. Identify the  type  of camera movement and write about why the director chose to use that camera movement in the scene and what effect it has on the audience. The camera movement at the start of the scene was slow steady and fits the relaxed atmosphere. Until the camera cuts from the plane to the airport and the hand camera angle slowly starts to zooms onto a person signify that this person could be the main character. After the camera cuts to a scene where the main character is being chased out of a subway station and stuck in a dark alley being followed by a hand camera which vibrates in a fixed potion adding tension to the scene to make it seem highly realistic. Denotation and connotation

  1. In this photo i can see an advert about needing toilets(clean water).  2. In this advert the setting and the poor face the child is making is denotation and this connotates how this child is in need of clean toilets as this add is by "water aid" a company which helps countries that dont have clean water and helps raise money for them.  3. The effect this advert will have on the audience is that they will see the state that certain people are in and want to donate and want to help. 1. In this photo i can see an advert about food(KFC) ft. Cristiano Ronaldo with a football stadium as the background.  2.In this advert Cristiano Ronaldo holding a bucket of KFC chicken is the denotation and the connotation is the quote they used"share the taste share the passion", which links to how Ronaldo is a passionate football player and this is a good way to use this for advertisement due to how Ronaldo is a very popular person and him being in a KFC advert is way to catch the ...
