2) What is conglomerate ownership and how does it link to Black Widow?

The conglomerate ownership is Disney owning Marvel and it links to Black Widow because it means Disney is in control of the film.

3) Analyse the film trailer for Black Widow. What aspects of the trailer tell you this is a big-budget blockbuster movie?

The trailer contains realistic explosions and scenes which make the movie stand out. For example when Black Widow jump out of a plane and landed on a broken piece of a building. The film has also used a simular super hero costume that Black Widow has worn in her previous Marvel movies(endgame) which shows how this was a high budget film.

4) How was Black Widow promoted to an audience? List at least three different methods used by the film's marketing campaign and why they were effective in promoting the film.

The film was promoted by posters and teaser trailers, TV chat shows and teasers released on Youtube and videos on social media. Marvel would even put their fans tweets on huge billboards to show the world how hype people were for the film.

5) What was the production budget for Black Widow and how much did it make at the box office?

The production budget for Black Widow was 200million but unfortunately they only made 379million at the box the box office.

6) Would you consider Black Widow a successful Hollywood blockbuster? Why?

Yes because even though the film wasn't as successful as their other Marvel films it was still a major studio movie mad with a high budget and the film had world wide actors able to act in the film especially Scarlett Johansson and it involved a franchies.

7) Who regulates the film industry in the UK?

The film industry is regulated by the British Board of film classification(BBFC)

8) What age rating was Black Widow given? Why?

It was a 12a because most Marvel films are  apropiate for kids as its most of their audience so if you was 12 or over you wee able to watch the film without perental guidance but if you was younger than 12 you could only watch the film with perental guidance.

9) Read this feature on Marvel using a fan's tweet to help market the film. Why is audience interaction such an important aspect of modern film marketing? 

This interaction with the audience is important for a modern film as it will catch the eyes of other audience because Marvel would put their fans tweets on billboards to show others how hyped people were about the new movie coming out so it started to attract new audience as well.

Denotation and connotation

  1. In this photo i can see an advert about needing toilets(clean water).  2. In this advert the setting and the poor face the child is making is denotation and this connotates how this child is in need of clean toilets as this add is by "water aid" a company which helps countries that dont have clean water and helps raise money for them.  3. The effect this advert will have on the audience is that they will see the state that certain people are in and want to donate and want to help. 1. Camera movement and editing

1) Pick  three   aspects of  camera movement  in the Minority Report clip. Identify the  type  of camera movement and write about why the director chose to use that camera movement in the scene and what effect it has on the audience. The camera movement at the start of the scene was slow steady and fits the relaxed atmosphere. Until the camera cuts from the plane to the airport and the hand camera angle slowly starts to zooms onto a person signify that this person could be the main character. After the camera cuts to a scene where the main character is being chased out of a subway station and stuck in a dark alley being followed by a hand camera which vibrates in a fixed potion adding tension to the scene to make it seem highly realistic.
